New Product Launch Done Right
Overview
In collaboration with one of our Medical clients, UMC successfully coordinated a new product launch for a very unique and complex assembly. Our dedicated team handled the manufacturing of all subcomponents and complete assembly of the final product. The project consisted of 6 assembly jobs, 11 subcomponents, 352 unique assemblies, and 4,978 individual components with a six month timeline for production. This project greatly benefitted from the expertise and experience of our project management capabilities, enabling us to successfully meet a tight deadline.
With weekly check-ins and in-depth project tracking, we were able to improve design for manufacturing upfront through open communication and collaboration – resulting in cost savings and increased efficiency throughout the entire project.
